I am still in search of truth and what my purpose in life is and coming to terms with the fact that the answer is not found in the destination but rather in the journey.
C.A.Nelson (b. 1984, Chicago, IL), lives and works in Philadelphia, PA. She creates visual and interactive installations that take a critical view of cultural, social, and political issues. Having engaged in subjects as diverse as racism, sexism, and other various social issues, her work reproduces familiar visual indications arranging them into new conceptually layered pieces. In 2012, she had multiple pieces published in the “Seeds Literary Art Journal.” C.A.Nelson is one of four founding members of a women of color artist collective T.I.T.S (Transcending Individual Thoughts of Self). She received a BA in Studio Art from Northeastern Illinois University and a MFA in Studio Arts from The University of the Arts.
